Pesci 1, Crazed Fan O

America's favorite 5'2" Italian, Joe Pesci, is making headlines for punching allegedly punching a man who wanted his picture.

After the incident, Pesci's agent released the following statement:

The incident occurred Jan. 22nd in Boca Raton, Florida. The man, a student at a local community college student, spoke with Pesci before running inside to get a camera to get his picture taken wit the Lethal Weapon,Home Alone, and My Cousin Vinny star.

"Mr.Pesci does not regret any of his actions. It does not need to be said that the victim should have known Mr.Pesci's crime-fighting skills after seeing him as Leo Getz in the Lethal Weapon series, And everybody knows he's Leo Getz, and whatever he wants, Leo gets."

Pesci is currently in post production of a new movie Washed Up, and Shipped Out, due in theatres Fall 2006.

Former co-worker Mel Gibson was less than thrilled about the public's reaction to the incident, "He's a small person, literally, he's physically smaller than 85% of the United States population- children included. He just can't handle the pressures, it builds on him, and he can't take it. One time he bit my arm because I took his Hot Pocket."

Danny Glover refused to comment, he has an outstanding lawsuit, filed in 2003, against Pesci for allegedly sneaking into Glover's house using the dog door. Pesci's lawyers refused to comment.
